Artistic Director & Teacher

 Indrani Parthasarathy  is the daughter and disciple of Karnataka Kala Thilaka Guru Smt. Radha Sridhar of Bengaluru,India. She is also trained under gurus Muththaiah Pillai, in the Pandanallur style, Sri M.R. Krishnamurthy & Dhananjayans in the Kalakshthra style of Bharathanatyam, She is also trained in Kuchipudi style of dancing and also in Carnatic vocal. She is a graded artist of Bangalore Doordarshan. She has performed extensively in India, UAE and USA.  
She holds the distinction of obtaining the first rank in the proficiency dance diploma exam in the state of Karnataka and is a graded artist of the television. She has more than 150 solo performances to her credit and has played major character roles in her guru’s dance drama productions. She has performed extensively in India, UAE and USA. She has been interested in choreography right from a young age and has choreographed many dance features, dance dramas, varnams and keerthanams. Having  moved to Houston, Texas, USA in 2001, she started the Abhinaya School of Performing Arts. At Abhinaya School she is the Artistic director and also teaches students at beginner to advanced levels. Her aim is to impart her expertise to the next generation of dance aspirants.
She is the Artistic director of Abhinaya School of Performing Arts, Houston, Texas where she trains students at all levels in Bharathanatyam.  She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education and has taught Math at elementary level. She  loves to choreograph new themes and dances and explore choreographing to new genres of music.

 Mrs. Krithika Ganesh
Teacher -Bharathantyam 

 Krithika Ganesh trained under Ms. Bragha Bessel in her early years which kindled her passion for dance. From age 8 she learnt Kalakshetra style of dancing under the tutelage of Kalaimamani Jayanthi Subramaniam for 7 years. She went on to give her debut performance at Puttaparthi in the presence of Sri Sathya saibaba during his 70 th birthday celebrations, which she considers as a divine blessing. Krithika also had the opportunity to tour across India to perform as 'Ganesha' in Anita Ratnam's production 'Gajanana'. Having lived in the Houston area for the Past 15 years she had the privilege of being associated with Guru Indrani Parthasarathy and taken part in Laya Kavithai choreographed by Smt Indrani Parthasarathy. She handles beginner, junior and intermediate level students at Abhinaya School of Performing Arts. Mrs. Krithika says "The most rewarding part of teaching dance is to see a child perform a step or choreography to perfection with all the corrections taken into account."

 Sudha Sankaranarayanan
Teacher -Bharathanatyam

Sudha Sankaranarayanan started dancing from the age of 7. She started her formal learning from Mr. Mukundan and Mrs. Vijaya Mukundan of Salangai Dance academy, Trichy. 
 She performed her arangetram at the age of 12 and was awarded the certificate of proficiency. She  has performed in various temples in and around Trichy in Tamilnadu,India. She was fortunate to be a part of Chitambaram Shivaratri event for two consecutive years. She worked as a choreographer for various cultural events while residing in Los Angels  After moving  to Houston she started training under Guru Indrani Parthasarathy. Now she handles the beginner and junior  students classes at Abhinaya School of Performing Arts. Mrs Sudha believes that in teaching Natyam she would like to make  a difference in a student's creative process.

Sai Lakshmi Sanagavaram

Sai Lakshmi Sanagavaram, is a senior student of renowned Guru Madhavapeddi Murthy. She started learning Kuchipudi at the age of 10 under her guru to whom she completely devoted her study of the art form.
Sai has been performing in her guru’s troupe from Siva Foundation for many reputed national and international dance festivals. She performed for Visakha Utsav, Spirit of Unity Concerts, Cuddapah Festival, Kuchipudi Mahotsav Brahmotsavam of Lord Venkateswara Swamy at Tirupathi, Brahmotsavam of Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru at Thiruchanoor to name a few.
She currently teaches this beautiful art form to many enthusiastic art lovers in Abhinaya School of Performing
Arts in Katy, Texas.Sai believes that hard work, personal effort and perseverance makes a dancer complete. “I feel happiest when I am teaching dance. Each student deserves my best and I try to give it!”
